Is the redaction actually permanent?
Yes. Approved redactions are rasterized (burned) into the PDF, destroying the text underneath. There is no overlay to peel back or copy out.
Which Colorado laws is it built on?
Colorado CORA (CRS § 24-72) and HB26-1422 (redacting officials’ personal info from records posted online). Every proposed redaction cites the exact section that authorizes withholding. v1 serves non-criminal-justice records.
Does a person review before anything is released?
Always. The clerk is the final reviewer. Nothing is released without a human approving it — the AI only proposes.
Where is our data stored?
US-only Cloudflare R2 buckets, encrypted at rest (SSE-S3) and in transit (TLS). Nothing leaves the country.
Does the AI see raw PII?
No. Content is pre-tokenized before the model sees it, and payloads are scrubbed before any log write.
Do you handle images or video?
Documents (PDF) today; DOCX and HTML next. Image and video redaction is on the roadmap — tell us if it is a priority for your agency.

Do we get an audit trail?
Yes. A per-agency, append-only log records every detection, proposal, and clerk decision — the chain-of-custody record a records dispute needs. (Cryptographic tamper-evidence is on the roadmap.)
What if the AI over-redacts or misses something?
It proposes; the clerk approves, edits, or rejects each mark. No document is auto-released.
